In 1993, Mr. Steve Meyers invented and subsequently patented the Anabec Advanced Cleaning Solution. This product has proven to be the premiere non-toxic microbial cleaner in the industry and forms the cornerstone for the Anabec Product Systems. Soon after the cleaning solution we introduced Anashield, an EPA registered product that offered a protective coating on finished building materials. Anabec was a pioneer in the emerging indoor air quality industry being the first company to promote the cleaning of a surface of organic debris prior to applying a protectant for long term protection from microbial re-contamination.
From this starting point, Anabec has continually introduced innovative products to the microbial remediation and prevention marketplace. In 2000, Anabec introduced Anabec X70 Plus and NewBuild 30, which are microbial shields for raw building materials. These shields use nanotechnology to penetrate a material's surface and provide microbial protection to the product surface. X70 Plus is used in the treatment of unfinished surfaces after mold and bacteria contamination are remediated. NewBuild 30 was designed as a preventative measure for new construction and is applied to new building material prior to finish construction.
In 2008, Anabec introduced Anasphere, a new broad spectrum microbial disinfectant with a polymer backbone. In 2010 Anasphere replaced the Anashield product as our primary microbial barrier technology for finished surfaces. Anasphere is the most versatile and powerful disinfectant/sanitizer on the market today. This EPA registered product affords protection for a wide range of fungi, bacteria, and viruses.
