NewBuild 50 is a water based acrylic moisture barrier that offers ultimate protection to new construction sites against mold and mildew growth. Specifically designed for the new construction industry, this product gets under the skin of new building materials and forms a durable moisture-resistant coating on the surface of new unfinished building materials. 

NewBuild 50 is the only Anabec system barrier product that can be applied without first having treated the building surfaces with the Advanced Cleaning Solution Plus, it's a one step process. However, if there is visible mold, you will need to spot treat with the Advanced Cleaning Solution Plus first.

NewBuild 50 bonds to surfaces, resists water, and can be easily painted over. Its low-VOC and solvent-free formula ensures safe usage for both applicators and building occupants. This product can be applied to wood, drywall, concrete and other unfinished surfaces. The active microbial fighting ingredient is silver nitrate. It serves as an excellent primer for latex paint and provides a microorganism barrier. NewBuild 50 has coverage rates up to 1,000 square feet per gallon. Shelf life is 18 months in a climate controlled environment.

It is Highly Recommended that Anabec Products be applied “PRIOR” to any mechanical installations in New Construction. It is also important to be sensitive to any fire sprinkler systems prior to the application of NewBuild 50. They must be covered to protect the sprinkler systems since NewBuild 50 goes on like a paint.
